Restoration of T9768

Miles Magister T9768 (G-AIUA) is now embarking on a long term restoration programme to flying condition.

The restoration will be carried out to ensure as much of the original structure can be used again & many original Magister parts & fittings will be used within the restoration which have been collected from all over the UK & Europe.

Work is currently underway on the Main Centre Section Wing Spars & we will keep you posted via the News section of this site as developments unfold.

Much of the restoration work is being carried out within an original World War Two Hanger on Redhill Aerodrome. From the workshop window beautiful views of picturesque Redhill Aerodrome can be enjoyed & one can almost imagine T9768 purring past the workshop along the taxi way as it would have done all those years ago! It is fitting to think that one day T9768 will again be seen in the skies over Redhill, reminding us all of those dark days in 1940, when it was the spirt & courage of the young airmen who spent hour after hour training in the Maggies at Redhill who eventually went on to win the Battle of Britian - the turning point of World War Two.
